5 Days 4 Nights: Sapa – Lan Ha Bay / Trekking & Crusing
DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL DAY
Our driver will come to pick you up from Hanoi airport to your hotel.
DAY 2 & DAY 3: HANOI – SAPA – CAT CAT Village – Y LINH HO – LAO CHAI – TA VAN (ONE OF THE BEST ITINERARIES IN SAPA)
On the first day: A short trek to Cat Cat village
You’re picked up from the hotel in the Old quarter of Hanoi departing to Sapa. Arrive in Sapa Town with colorful traditional costumes of H’mong, Dzao, Tay ethnic People.
You’ll get a welcome drink and itinerary briefing then enjoy the lunch with local Vietnamese dishes, check-in procedures.
In the afternoon, a short trek to the gate of Cat Cat village which is home of Black H’mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak.
Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trek down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station; stop for photo with bridge and waterfall then you will walk uphill for bus to pick up to get back to Sapa in the afternoon.
Trekking distance is about 3.5 kms and it lasts for 2 hours
Come back and have a dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, overnight in a hotel in Sapa Town centre.
On the second day: Sapa – A long trek to Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Sapa – Hanoi
Have breakfast at your hotel and prepare light pack for trekking.
Then trek from Sapa to Y Linh Ho then trek through the rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black H’mong village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain.
12:30: Picnic lunch at Lao Chai Village then heading to Ta Van village – home of Dzay ethnic people.
End the tour in the afternoon, you are picked up to back to Hanoi city.
Note: Trekking distance is about 12 kms and it lasts for 4.5 hours.
Important notes:
• Older people should not do the long trek (9 km) as it is challenging and dangerous in case of rain.
• Handicapped people and children under 6 should not do the trek.
• Bring warm clothes, a scarf and a hat or cap as the weather in Sapa is unpredictable. It is normally cold from September to March.
• Due to the altitude in Sapa, it is sometimes foggy from December to March.
• Please bring trekking shoes, sunglasses, sunblock and insect repellent.
• If you do not want to attend the long Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van trek on day 2, your tour leader will help you to visit another location. You are responsible for all ticket and transportation costs.
• The driver from Hanoi to Sapa and speaks very little English.
DAY 4 & DAY 5: HANOI – LAN HA BAY
